For our last day, have the students either write a poem, limerick , or a short story about their favorite thing in first grade! Tell me what they liked, why they liked it, and what they want to learn in second grade.
For all Digital Lessons, you will need a few sheets of paper and a pencil to complete activities and follow instructions from the lessons.

Directions:
Students/Teacher will watch the Create Composite Shapes video.
Watch the video lesson the teacher will show the students the 2-D anchor chart and review 2-D shapes. Then the teacher will model how to compose 2D shapes with the Compose 2-D Shapes by Thomas Teachable Moments. Cut out the colored shapes to model with the students. Answers are there to guide you.
Students will do page 3 of the “Make a New Shape” page. Print out the page and follow the directions on top of the page.
**If you cannot print, have the student draw the shapes on a piece of paper.
